This week's deliveries will happen on Thursday, February 2 (Charlottetown area) and Friday, February 3 (Montague, Belfast, etc.). Please place your order by Monday Night (January 30).
We expect this week's Small Veggie Box ($20) will contain:
-2 lbs. of satina potatoes (yellow flesh)
-1 bag of spicy alfalfa sprouts (alfalfa / radish mix)
-1 green cabbage
-2 lbs. of carrots
-1 turnip (approx. 1½-2 lbs.)
( We're happy to make substitutions or additions to your Veggie Box.)
We expect this week's Large Veggie Box ($30) will contain:
-2 lbs. of satina potatoes (yellow flesh)
-1 bag of spicy alfalfa sprouts (alfalfa / radish mix)
-1 green cabbage
-2 lbs. of carrots
-1 large turnip (approx. 2-3 lbs.)
-1 lb. of yellow onions
-1 bag of sunflower shoots
-1 large daikon radish
-2 bulbs of garlic

Organic Veggie Delivery can make substitutions to your Veggie Box.
We can make additions to your Veggie Box.
We take custom orders.
We want you to get the veggies you want.

If you want to order a $20, $30, or $40 veggie box and/or anything else (see Produce lists below, other email, and/or the website), please reply by email or phone by Monday night. You can sign up to receive a veggie box every two weeks and/or you can just order by Monday night for Thursday/Friday delivery.
(We will try to fill late orders when possible.)
I generally send out an email update on the Friday or Saturday before deliveries. You can mark your calendar if you could use a reminder to place your order on time. Or you can arrange a standing biweekly order.
If it is your first time ordering, please provide your location, address, street (or route #), civic #, apartment #, directions, phone #, cell phone #, email address, and what you'd like to order. Deliveries generally occur in the late afternoon and evening. I can't guarantee delivery at a certain time, so please let me know where to leave it if you're not home and how payment will be arranged. If I know in advance, I can try to deliver to you before, after, or near a certain time if you know when you'll be home.
C) Biweekly Winter Delivery Reminders
Organic Veggie Delivery will be delivering every 2 weeks through the winter.
You can arrange a biweekly standing order for delivery of a Veggie Box or custom order.
Now that it's well into the winter, most of the available produce is hardier than in summer or fall. With a few exceptions, it can easily last two weeks or longer.
With a little advance planning, you can keep your fridge and pantry stocked between biweekly deliveries. Thank you for choosing seasonal, local organic produce year-round.
You can:
place a standing biweekly order
mark your calendar with delivery dates
mark your calendar with dates to order by
order enough to last until next delivery (larger Veggie Box or additional items)
order other organic and natural food items (eg. grains, beans, canned goods, cleaning supplies, and much more)
prepay for 2 or more deliveries
if you'll be out, leave a cooler with a warm water bottle to keep your veggies from freezing

Base Cost for Veggie Boxes
There is a $5 base cost included in the price of the Veggie Boxes.
The price of the Veggie Box contents and this base cost add up to $20, $30, or $40 (small, large, or jumbo box).
There is a $5 base cost for custom orders.
If you are living on a low income and cost is an impediment, please let us know.
Delivery Areas and Times
Deliveries generally occur in the late afternoon and evening. On Thursdays we deliver to the Charlottetown area (including Stratford and Cornwall). On Fridays, we deliver east to Montague, Belfast, etc. If we begin deliveries in other areas, we will contact those who have expressed interest.
Allergies, Preferences, Substitutions
Please feel free to indicate any allergies, preferences, or your feelings about substitutions if you order a specific product that is not available.
We'll try to incorporate people's preferences where feasible.
Prices subject to change
Prices are subject to change, depending on supply, cost, and other factors.
Each week some of the items listed may not be available.
Waste Reduction
We try to reduce packaging for those who request it.
You can also return the mesh potato and onion bags.

We're not carrying organic meats, but can help you track some down.
